RELATIVES SERVICE

1 NE London has had a free service for families and friends of addicts since 1992.

The services we offer include:

The Relatives Group

This is for anyone living with, or who has lived with an addict.

In order to help recovery for themselves, all group members are expected to make a commitment to attend the group for at least 6 weeks.

The purpose of this group is to give and receive help. By being honest and supportive with one another, clients find they have many experiences in common and that they are not alone. Clients also understand the importance of confidentiality.

Individual Counselling

These 50 minute sessions are held between the times of 9.45am and 3.30pm Monday to Friday. The length of time required for counselling is determined between the client and counsellor.

Adult Children of Addicts Group

For any adult son or daughter over the age of 18 years who has or is being affected by a parent’s addiction.

The purpose of this group is to address the areas of lives that have been severely damaged and to enable emotional healing
